I used to be someone extreme. An extreme vegetarian. A Buddhist nun. Lived life purely on spite. Divorced. A Madame. An exercise fanatic.
Scared of getting fat to the point of telling myself that I’d commit suicide if I did. But I’ve learned to let go of all these extremities.
Yoga transcend competition. Yoga transcend merchandise. Yoga transcend fashion… Yoga is You!Kru Niti
Instead of being an extreme vegetarian, I now have meat every other meal. Personally I don’t like meat, but having some has helped with my blood.
I used to weigh more than I am now up to 18 kilos after I had my daughter. I practiced yoga everyday and lost it all in 3 months.
I used to be extremely pious to a point where I became a nun. Now I am only moderately so and enjoy the benefits of meditation.
I’ve lost friends and held grudges, but years past have made us both better people. We’ve now forgiven each other and are friends once again.
I used to be a madame… Well I am still a madame since I have to hire a maid to look after my daugher when I’m at work. (Haha)
Life has it’s ups and downs. Mine is no different. Despite whatever past I have been through, I learned to be happier through yoga.
That is why I understand yoga isn’t simply an exercise or hobby. Yoga is You.
